Today I celebrate not only the first birthday of my tiny niece but also gratitude for the passing of time. I am moving at a considerably slower pace now than I was this time last year and I’m so happy to be home and walking around outside. Also for the extra light that spills into my living room then through to my kitchen as morning moves to evening. I am busy writing and planning for the next album and I’m sensing a spring like surge of inspiration….

I’ll be playing only a couple maritime shows this month and next and then at the end of April and til the end of May I’ll be on the road with the fabulous Joel Plaskett as he unleashes his new album ‘Three’ ( which officially hits stores tomorrow)! It’s a great project and I’m totally pumped to be a part of it and the entourage who will head out across Canada. The band will be comprised of Joel & his dad, Bill, myself and songstress Ana Egge. We’ll be hitting all the major Canadian cities so check out the schedule and come out and see the show -it’s gonna be WAY too much fun.
