Today was sunny and I went for a walk in the woods with some friends in Chester. They are lucky to live in the country and because they are artists and work from home they partake in a morning “walk to work” by looping around their property, onto the road and back home. How smart is that? I love my dwelling but I do long for a home in the country in the years to come..where cell phones don’t work as well and the things you see out the window aren’t human.

I was honoured last weekend to play a show with Symphony Nova Scotia. Arrangements were done for four of my songs and it was a glorious feeling having the orchestra swell behind me and to share the show with Old Man Luedecke. This show will eventually be on CBC…I’ll post when that happens.

I have one more trip next week into the states for a few shows and then I’m hunkering down to finish writing (hopefully in the country). Pre-orders are rolling in and I’m so very thankful to all of you who have joined and continued on the team! I’ll be taking orders till the end of May and then I’ll hopefully be heading into the studio in June so wish me luck and send me your best creative vibes!
