Mother Nature is such a tease with this week of mild weather…temps hangin out above zero..people hangin out less 3 layers of clothes…snow banks slumping under the sun. I know better.

January was a tough ol haul but on Sunday, I had a party…and with that it was over. Levels of gratitude are up with predictions of great things for the future and this weekend is Boston again to see my American friends, sing and celebrate birthdays and the like.

My friend who is an art gallery tech found a Polaroid camera in a drawer, so, we bought some film and did some tester shots sans flash. Aaah the primitive digital. The instant (with some patience) gratification. Polaroids remind me of my mum and early birthday parties. Every camera is a chance to see and capture things differently. I suppose the same is true applied to just about anything.

To Amy C.- be careful in the big city. Work hard, you are the best example. Get settled and I’ll see you in April.
