Ah January. The month of my sister’s birth, my good friend Jennifer’s, and also my reliable webmaster Mike, Happy Birthday to all y’all….I celebrate you!

In January I am pensive. Maybe it’s the coming down off of the holidays and taking a good look at where I am in life, love, music and the dreaded finance….I want to travel less, watch more movies, read, & think. If you haven’t seen Napoleon Dynamite…it’s flippin great.

I was told that the earthquake in Southeast Asia shifted the earth’s axis by a bazillionth of a millimeter causing the whole earth to shift…and so we all shift. A tsumani shifts thinking, people’s hearts. Even here in Halifax special concerts come out of nowhere, donating proceeds to help those who are hurting…..it truly amazes me how people can, in such a short amount of time, rally in support and make such a huge difference. When you don’t feel like there’s anything you can do to help…you just do what you know.
