I’m off to Boston at the end of this week and I’ll be sure to report back, post some pics from the festival at Club Passim. Check out the website to see the schedule and if you’re near a computer when the shows come on you may be able to catch me strumming online www.clubpassim.org/campfire

I’m packing up and moving out of a place I’ve lived in for 5 years, woooweee. I’m finding some “lost items”, bought my first microwave & kettle = real person, tea for everyone!

Thanks to all who came to the show at the Danube on Friday. A great crowd and the perfect warm up for my adventure. Looks like the fall may bring some shows in Ontario but not before I play a show here with Emm Gryner & Amy Campell – so stay tuned.

Check out the GALLERY! It’s up and moving so please peruse through.

I’m heading to my lovely Island for a rest from my travels thus far. I’ll be back later this month to play a show in Halifax, then I’m heading to Boston on Labour Day weekend to be a performer at the “Cutting Edge of the Campfire” at Club Passim in Harvard Square. I’ve been fortunate enough to be invited to play as a Canadian guest at the Campfire which is a long weekend filled with great Boston area musicians playing in the round.

Club Passim is a legendary folk club where the likes of Joan Baez, Shawn Colvin, Bob Dylan, Nanci Griffith and Suzanne Vega “cut their musical teeth before playing larger venues”. I visited for my first time last summer and played an open mic night. It’s a really small and very welcoming place – so if you’re in Boston around that time……

ps. Dale Letcher’s new CD “Vacation” is out and available at his shows or at Sam the Record Man in Halifax (I sing on a couple of tracks- wink)

pps. You may have heard me talk about Deb Talan before. Well her new CD “A Bird Flies Out” was recently released. I’d suggest getting any and all of her stuff – it’s on repeat in my player right now
